Athmadarshan is a pioneer INTERNET VIDEO CHANNEL from LAKSHMI PADMANABHAN TRUST, a non-profitable Trust established in the year 1997. The Channel would speak about Indian Philosophy, Music, Dance and Heritage of India etc., The Trust has promoted a cultural sabha in the name of nadha-dhwani in the year 1997 and promoted Carnatic Music through video recordings and telecast them over Chennai Doordarshan Kendra.

The INTERNET VIDEO CHANNEL (www.athmadarshan.net) is an exclusive one to promote our Indian Fine Arts and Culture with prime content of spreading our valuable Veda, Upanishads and the Dharma as prescribed by our elders from time to time.

In an age where the visual media is stuffed with violence, vulgar and gore of materials and which corrupts the minds of our people, our Channel aims to bring the essence of our Veda, Upanishads and the Dharma through this powerful Internet medium. When the Private Satellite Channels are conspicuous with ulterior profit motive, the Trust feels that Internet is the right medium to reach the people. Internet being one of the treasure of knowledge, the Trust is confident that the visitors to our site would certainly be benefited through the messages from our philosophical ideologies.
